Ski Resort Reviews – Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, located in the heart of the Tetons, provides an abundance of spectacular skiing and snowboarding with stunning scenery. With its old western style boardwalks and charm, the nearby town of Jackson hosts a variety of restaurants, pubs, galleries, and designer boutiques.

Mountain

With 459″ of average snowfall, 2,500 acres of inbound terrain, and 116 trails, Jackson Hole offers plenty of skiing for every ability. The mountain boasts a 4,139′ vertical rise, the longest continuous rise of any U.S. resort. Terrain levels consist of 50% expert trails, 40% intermediate and 10% beginner. Backcountry

Skiing Magazine ranked Jackson Hole #1 for steeps and backcountry access with its 3000 acres of open backcountry.

Heli-Skiing

High Mountain Heli-Skiing offers helicopter assisted ski touring for the backcountry adventurer searching for untracked powder snow.

Nordic Skiing

Cross-country or skate ski on 17km of groomed runs or take a Nature Ski Tour in the Grand Teton National Park.

Dogsledding

Dining

For breakfast don’t forget to stop at the Bunnery Bakery & Restaurant in downtown Jackson for delicious freshly baked goods and gourmet coffee. Once on the mountain, ride the new aerial tram to the summit for homemade waffles at Top of the World Waffles.

For lunch, stop at the Gondola Summit for lunch at the Couloir Restaurant or visit Nick Wilson’s Bar and Grill, a favorite locals hangout, at the base of the aerial tram. Aprs ski at the famous Mangy Moose Saloon or head into downtown Jackson for microbrews and dinner at the Snake River Brewing Company.
